Aside from the preference to use higher octane gas to complement the upgrade for better overall performance, all I heard were good things and anyone serious about performance won't mind the extra $5-10 per fill up and slightly less MPG rating... it makes up for that in fun ;)

Are you interested in getting one? Maybe we can get bigger discount with multiple units

Got the tuning box and installed it yesterday. no CEL light or any other issue so far. Only have driven with it for 20 miles. The tune is suppose to get better after it adapts. We shall see.
Not bad at all. After a number of turning it off and on the light might appear but that's just a worst case scenario. If you get through that with no error then you should be in the clear.

Did they provide any range of miles that you should expect it to finally adapt in?

to be honest, the MPG is not really my main concern. didn't really get the tune to save gas. But if there is a function in the car that can monitor that, let me know. I will test it and let you know. Also, i try in different modes all the time, so that may not be so accurate.

It works. a nice little increase of performance. Give you a little jolt when you "step" on it.

The signature AMG exhaust "backfire" sound disappeared for awhile. I was very disappointed, but surprisingly, it came back only a few days ago. Now, I think it is back to normal. A few guys on the forum, who own C450, said that it takes a few days for the ECU to fully adjust to the tune and the sound to come back to normal. Mine took over 2 months! Well, at least it is back and sounds amazing again.

Installation was pain in the axx the first time. took about 1 hour. Now, it takes about 20 minutes. Still pain in the xxx since the airfilter box is completely in the way of one sensor and is very hard to remove.

CEL. No problem so far. I swapped out the tuning box with the bypass unit to get the car back to stock setting once. No problem either.

ECU tuning price has gone up so much these days. I thought it is a little expensive. I think many companies just buy the same software from the one tuning company that creates the program and manufacture the box/chip with the name on it. This is probably still the least expensive tuning program out there.
