Found this yesterday while I was searching for performance upgrade on the GLE 450 Coupe.

Has any GLE 450 Coupe owner tried this and care to share their experience? OR is anyone interested in getting this, maybe negotiate a bigger discount with VR?

I was actually looking into this for my own car however the cost of $1000 for a chipset is a bit too much. Burger Tuning makes chipsets for BMW's and they cost half that. I will most likely get this chipset once the price drops!

I had burger tuning chip for my BMW before. but $1000 for a tune is actually not too bad, if you compare to all other tunes out there. you can actually get it for $850 if you call VR directly.

One good way to get around it is a group buy but that takes a lot of work and not sure if there's a good volume of owners interested at this point. You can always try.

I'm actually about to give them a call and see how much they can do on it. A group purchase would indeed be amazing however you're correct about the amount of owners willing to do so.

I did try to do that, but not many interest as you can see how many people responded to this thread. but I talked to VR. The price $850 is pretty much the group buy price.
