The coolant temperature gauge?

The coolant temperature gauge in my 2018 MB GLE 350 is indicating 1 bar shy of 3/4 line on the gauge while driving or idle, is it normal? The dealer replaced the faulty reservoir and coolant line a few months back. In normal cases, the temp needle indicates in the center.

I have a 2017 and have the same thing. If you go into the vehicle information page it should show it at normal temp. For whatever reason the dash is displaying higher than the computer is reading. Sorry for not using the correct MB terms. I cannot think of the names atm.

Hello there,

I wonder if you can help, since I have a similar problem... Just purchased a 2018 GLE 350 a few months ago with 23K... A few weeks ago I noticed the temperature increase for no reason. Even with the cooler weather the gauge is almost at the 3/4 mark with just on a 10 minute trip to the supermarket...

Can you dig up the part numbers for the items that were replaced in your truck, and as I understand, it cured the problem? your gauge no longer reads 3/4 but it remains in the center?

Thank you
Regards,

Philip
