Road and Track has a cool story running on their site right now that follows two travellers (Douglas Sonders and Nicholas Cambata) taking the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe from LA to Las Vegas. It has some great pictures to gawk at, and it also has some nice observations about the GLE too. It's sponsored content, so don't esxpect anything too critical, but it does give a more emotional and lifestyle-oriented view of the GLE as opposed to a more typical vehicle review.

Big Bear Lake, about 45 miles from Lake Arrowhead and still within the San Bernardino National Forest, has absolutely stunning views and some roads that are really fun to drive. We decided to take trail 2N17, which loops around the northern side of the lake. It's known as a beautiful and challenging drive, featuring numerous elevation changes and winding curves. I pushed the car hard around each bend and felt how it responded to the sand and dirt. It didn't break a sweat.

It may be biased but it does give you some ideas on where you can take your GLE for a nice scenic car ride. One day I'd like to visit Big Bear Lake.

It sure does and those are the kind of areas i would go with vehicles of mine, i bet a large portion of GLE buyers and the overall demographic in the segment can agree to that.
