Hey everyone, I just ordered my GLE 450. It's scheduled to be built the 3rd week of March. Did anyone experience any delays or early deliveries for their orders? Also, once the build process starts, how long did it take to get to the dealership? Thanks!

Mine was supposed to have been built this week and the dealer told me that it would arrive at the dealership on 2/22. Let's see if it happens.

I ordered first week of December.

Can't imagine it being much longer. My guess is no longer than a couple weeks to a few weeks apart.

Thanks for the responses. My build date got moved up to March 11. Is that the completed or start date for the build and since I live in Florida, I'm hoping the car will arrive the following week. What type of updates should the dealer provide? Thanks!

That sucks but as long as everything is done right come time to take delivery then it will all be good. I'd have no complaints keep us posted on how things go. Date is coming soon.

Hopefully there won't be any delays. Do they at least seem to be a good dealership to deal with? Good customer service? If that's the case then issues could be handled well.

It's a great dealership. I drive past two other MB dealers to go to this particular one. I've leased my last 5 MB's thru them, so I'm confident that they'll deliver on time. They're also looking for dealer swaps in the meanwhile that match what I ordered. If they can find one, they'll get me the swap and they'll take my order car as part of their inventory.

Just talked to my MB dealer and they told me my build date got pushed back 1 week thus far. The new build date is March 18th. I'm worried its going to get pushed back further. Very frustrating.

Yes. Put in the order on Christmas Eve day and original build date was supposed to be late March/early April and now I am told it is late May/early June build. I confirmed with the dealership GM of that date so if it slips again I will ask for more concessions.

Just heard from my dealer and my build date got pushed back again to March 20th. Very frustrating.

Just heard from the dealer and he told me my GLE450 entered into production today and gave me the VIN number. Hoping to have it arrive next week. How long did the process take for everybody else once they received the VIN number?
