I've owned multiple high-level BMW's and Audi's... but this is my first Merc.

I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that the build quality in Mercedes is superior to other brands.
The vehicle feels rock solid.

It can be dead quiet inside the cabin, with a silky-smooth ride when cruising in Comfort Mode...
But then, with the flick of a switch, it can be an absolute MONSTER when you throw it into Sport+ Mode.

I'm very pleased with my purchase. Glad to be a new member of this forum.

Jimmy.... Real fine. Want to get a 63 on order here in the states. Just got a 53 and the roads are just starting to clear up around here. Northern Lower Michigan. There is another switch that clears out some of the obstructions in the exhaust system... Hi. I am still running around in comfort mode and keep the 'R's' down. So far have 2k miles on it and shows not a drop of oil used. I take lots of time to warm it up. Love the 'dream' car.... Later..Gerry

PS... Back a little bit you said it might be 'your first and last'.... Must have got that problem fixed???...

Nope - problem not fixed.
Mercedes spent half a day trying to solve the issue, and then threw their hands up in the air and said: "that's just the way it's going to be".

I do love the vehicle. I love the styling. I love the power. And I especially love the exhaust note.
But I do believe this will be my first, and last Mercedes...

Real fine on all.... Waited a year for my 53... May put a 63 on order. Will wait to make sure the accessories don't get dropped.... Love the car.... Later..Gerry
