As part of their agreement Daimler will play a part in Aston Martins Crossover. Engine and electronics will likely be all daimler, no word on if they will be helping with the platform as well?

Yea but elsewhere in the article Palmer states that much of the project is beyond the scope of what Aston is capable of on their own. What expertise does ASton have with SUV's or 4WD systems? I'm sure Merc will lend a helping hand...

I'm surprised they are putting a V10 engine in it. Most auto makers are tending towards less cylinders in their engines. Some people just really like the sound of the V10 in their car.

I wonder if Aston Martin will be going with a big V10, or if it will go with a smaller turbo engine.

People will buy a Aston Martin crossover. I think it'll be a success.
