Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Sketch forecasts X4 Competitor

Mercedes-Benz was a little late to the party when it comes to its X6-fighter the GLE Coupe, but now it is trying to play catch up and that includes a X4 competitor, the GLC Coupe. The public will get to see a preview of the GLC Coupe in Shanghai before coming out likely next year or in 2017.

The Shanghai Auto Show will kick off on April 20, so we should get a good look at it then.

While Mercedes is late to the game, they'll have what I hope will be some strong BMW rivals, so far their other new vehicles seem to have done well.

Going off of look alone the GLC should look better than the BMW, as with all MB's :D

I think that the GLC coupe and X4 look remarkably similar. It's hard to really say which one looks better than the other. I think that it ends up coming down to which brand you like better because they honestly look so very much alike.

too bad you're comparing an X6 with a GLE...
I do see your point but there aren't image comparisons online of the GLC vs the X4. I think this still gives you a good idea of how the two brands are designing very similar vehicles in this segment.

In other related news, the GLC Coupe study is going to debut on Monday at Auto Shanghai. It will be based on the second generation GLK.

It will be the GLE Coupe's smaller brother so it's not that hard to image how it will end up looking in production form.
