I have a 2016 300d that I bought new. I've read about the EPA/CARB diesel recall and understand the hardware changes but have not been able to find any information about the software changes.
I'm very reluctant to have the recall done - I've had several vehicles in the past that have been spoiled by stupid things done to address a recall.
I've corresponded with the MB customer service and their advocacy group asking for specific information but have gotten nothing.
So I'm hoping that maybe a few people here who've had the recall work done can chime in with their experience as far as the impact of the changes on the vehicle performance/driveability.
