Just curious - how and where do you charger your iPhone while driving?

There are usb ports in the centre console but if I want to keep my iPhone visible at all times, there is no room for the lightning cable to slip through the centre console when is closed.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have just bought a Mercedes GLE 400 AMG Coupe 2016 (last week), there is a problem with my iPod Classic, at the beginning after i connect the iPod via media interface cable, it run smoothly, but after i turn off the ignition power for over night, and when i turn on the power in the morning n turn on the audio, the ipod will freeze, then i turn on the radio and get back to ipod connection, the ipod will run again, it means the ipod can play again after i trigger it by turning on the radio, i dont know what is happening with my GLE 400 AMG Coupe, since i never had this experience with my other Mercedes before. In this occasion i would like to ask you , what should i do to solve this problem, since until now my mercedes dealer in my home country, Indonesia can not find yet any solution for this matter. Thank you very much for your kind attention. Best Regards, Arpin Wiradisastra

I have an 18" USB/Lightning cord that I thread under the console cover. I just leave the cord plugged into the USB all the time. The console lid is not in the way as there is ample room to thread the cord out from the interior with the lid closed. I connect my iPhone and place it into an auto Seat Gap Organizer that I have wedged between the passenger seat and the center console frame. That way the phone is easily accessable to me and also easy for me to unplug when I leave the car. The lightening end of the cord is then readily available for me to plug the iPhone into when I enter the car.
