2017 GLE 4 Matic. Recently we experienced multiple dead battery issues
which has been diagnosed as an issue with the ignition system EIS failing to shut down the systems in the car when it is turned off. Evidently, some internal systems do not fully turn off when car is off thus draining the battery over night The vehicle is with a dealer, they have diagnosed an engineering code of some type that has been forwarded to Mercedes Engineering in Germany for a solution to the problem. Meanwhile, we are without a car and have little hope that a solution is in the near future Has anyone else had this issue and what might Mercedes offer to compensate for an obvious manufacturing error
