Dear all,

Do any of you are aware of road behaviour issues with the GLE 43 amg coupe / GLE 450 amg coup?

I was planning to buy one, but now I was informed that there are issues with the road behaviour of the vehicle when equiped with 22 inch wheels.

Apparently, the car could leave its track and break out about 5cm - 10cm on a straight line when driving over a sewer lid or little bump in the road...

Do any of you have heared similar news or do any of you have experience with this?

kind regards,
Stijn

I have a 2016 GLE 450 AMG with ~19k miles and 22" wheels, and have noticed anything like that at all. They key is to use the proper tire pressure. I have had a tire chain inflate them to max pressure on the door panel, which is far too high and makes the ride very harsh. The correct pressures are listed inside the fuel door. I usually add a few PSI to each.

Hi,
I drive MB 2017 GLE coupe 43 AMG.
I have the same problem (Apparently, the car could leave its track and break out about 5cm - 10cm on a straight line when driving over a sewer lid or little bump in the road...) even when the road is smooth. So it is very obvious when I drive with "Comfort suspension mode".
When suspension mode is turned on "Sport" or "Sport +" the car is much more stable.
In my opinion the car as such can not behaviour like that. But unfortunately even authorized service can not find anything wrong about it.
