Haven't seen anything about the seat knocking but I agree. Take it back, tell them to fix it, before you leave with it, take a tech or advisor with you and make sure it doesn't happen again
You might want to start asking people about their GLE's production date since going off that you can pin point a batch that will have the least problems and suggest you get a GLE from that batch if you still want a GLE.My GLE has been in for 3 days, went to collect it this morning and still not perfect, still hear a sound when turning. I walked away from it, don't want it back until sorted. Shocking that a car of this value should be put together so loosely, even my centre console creeks...I love the GLE, but I'm beginning to dislike driving it![]()

Since my last post, my seat has infact been fixed with a new seat and housing...still shouldnt have taken this long to fix this problem. Now I have a leaking air bag in the seat in the lumbar region....no deal breaker though as I don't really use it...will seriously look at what I get next with regards to Mercs...
