I am always hitting the cruise control lever because it’s different in location compared to my ML320 & my Lexus RX350. I was told the location change was made due to user complaints. For me, the cruise control lever should be above the Turn Signal lever because the Turn Signal Lever is the most used function. I also think that Mercedes should give us the ability to switch off the Auto Dimming function because it is too dark. Lexus allows us to do so.

The auto dimming is something that MB could easily change with a software update. I do agree the new position of the turn signal is an odd design choice, but I would imagine it won't take long to adjust to.

Your argument that eventually we will get used to the odd turn signal/cruise control lever location is faulty. I have a ML320, a Lexus RX350 and a Nissan Altima and all of them have the turn signal either by itself or below the other levers. It is hard to get used to the GLE350 when I rotate driving between my cars. Whoever is the designer or designers who decided to put the cruise control lever below the turn signal lever doesn’t understand human nature. Then, there’s the headlight switch panel without backlighting. In California, we are supposed to manually turn ON the headlights when it’s raining during the day. Sometimes it’s dark and I can’t see where the manual headlight ON position is. What’s going on MERCEDES???
