Just purchased a 2017, Obsidian Black AMG GLE43 and very concerned about my valet parking garage as well as parking on the streets of downtown Chicago. Can anyone recommend awesome bumper, door, etc. protection that wouldn't distract from the beauty of the car. I don't mind putting them on & taking them off every time I park the car but would prefer something permanent that would protect & defend! Thank you for your help! Scott

Can't really think of anything that'll stop you from getting dings that isn't a red rope around your car. But perhaps get some PPF applied just to have some good scratch protection on it?

Xpel film? But if someone is going to slam their door hard into your GLE, then an extra layer won't be able to help. Best to try and find safe parking and maybe park your own car when possible, just take precaution on top of protection.

Xpel film is great and all but there isn't anything that can stop you from getting door dings and deep scratches depending on the movement towards it. What I do is when I leave the car in a mall parking lot, I park real far away from anyone and leave it secluded.

They have front, back & side protectors.

You might want to check out the bumpstep from Weathertech out in Bolingbrook. I think your GLE has a hitch like mine and this pretty much gaurantee nobody hits your back bumper. There's a couple different models.

Anything you really put on there to stop it from physically getting door dented or dinged heavy enough will look intrusive and take away from the actual look of the GLE. There's really no way getting around that.
