My 2016 GLE350 with approx. 5k miles on it has developed a bad odor out of the A/C vents. I spoke with the dealer and they said that this is a normal maintenance item and not covered by warranty. They want me to pay approx. $90 for some sort of bio cleaner. Has anyone else encountered this and, if so, how did you handle it?

I would say no to paying for it. That should be a warranty item. Fight this or go to another dealer.
