Presenting the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe CLR G800 by Lumma Designs.

Firstly, 449hp and 475lb-ft of torque. That should be enough right?

A nice little bump up, nothing crazy, but a bump nonetheless which is what everyone really wants. Now have a look at the aesthetic upgrades.

Even just off of exterior styling alone I would get this. Out of all the kits i've seen out there this is just about the best of them.

Sadly its rare that you see someone get the whole kit, instead its pieces and the most common we should be seeing is the grille for obvious reasons.

Yep.. majority of people will just get the grille, or that carbon rear spoiler. Smaller pieces that are subtle and on the cheaper side in relation to the other pieces of the kit. Some will get the grille and the emblem even... I hate when people do that lol.

I actually don't have a problem with that since it helps in further personalizing the vehicle, making it more than being a Mercedes. Plus that's all it takes, one part like this to throw on the badge.

As more parts come out from other aftermarket parts makers it will be interesting to see how people bring parts from those various brands together.

Are you looking into any other brands?

I do like some pieces from Top Car and even a piece or two from Larte even though majority of their parts are really, in your face kind of looking.

Surprised no one here mentioned Brabus since they are just about one of the most recognized tuning brands out there for Mercedes.

What they have going on right now for the GLE is intoxicating:

Hardest part of the two brands I mentioned here is choosing which grille to go with.

The Brabus front bumper is just a bit too extreme for my tastes. Seems a bit over the top in my opinion.

Color is one thing that plays into how it looks, its a big one and in a different color you might like it, unless fundamentally with design its just flawed to you regardless of the color.

I can however see how it can be improved with other colors, a dark grey or black will help in my situation.
