leak onto driver's side rear seat

Let me start of by stating I live in Fl. we get heavy downpours that last for an hour or two and go away nearly every day in the summer. over the last 1 yr, on 4 separate occasions, I found my child's booster seat wet with the headliner feeling moist and drops around the rear reading light over the window. the dealership has run several different tests to simulate the rain fall on two initial checks without being able to simulate the leak, 2 weeks back, they were able to notice with the headliner off, rolling back the moonroof, the left corner seal folded in a way that it didnt lay flat and postulated that this may be the reason for the leak and replaced all the seals but once i got the care back, the next day, you guessed it, the booster seat was wet again. I left the car over the weekend with some heavy downpours and they called and stated they couldnt find the leak again.

1. Has this happened to anyone else?
2. Is this a problem with the sloped roofline and maybe a slight grade towards the drivers side at my work parking lot( I keep the care garaged all other times)
3. what options do I have if the leak persists? can i get the value of the car applied to a new purchase (i am reluctant to go with another coupe although i love the care otherwise and still love shifting it into sport+ and hearing the pop pops =)

Any feedback will help

I live in FL as well, but don't have the Coupe. Yours is a perplexing problem to be sure. You say that the dealership cannot replicate the leak but can you? Have you tried training a hose on the GLE from various angles to see if you can repeat the leak? Demonstrably replicating the problem is essential if you expect the dealership to fix it or give you any kind of accommodation. Have you closely examined the seal each time you open and close the sunroof? You must test this repeatedly with a hose several times after you open and close the sunroof. If you can replicate the leak be sure to take pictures of it from inside the vehicle. Ideally, you should be in the car while someone else trains the hose on the vehicle from various angles so you can see the leak manifest and photograph it. Good luck.
